Batteries and energy storage

The large surface area, high levels of thermal and electrical conductivity, low density, mechanical strength and morphology of UM’s graphene nanoplatelets, make them ideal candidate materials for applications in electrochemical energy storage systems.

These properties can be deployed into battery and energy storage applications to reduce weight, extend the life and increase energy storage capacity and power; as well as to enhance system efficiency through the shortening of charging and discharging times.

For more information about how our graphene nanoplatelets and how they could be used please contact UM’s sales office on +44(0)1642 438214 or contact us directly.
