Applied Graphene Materials were pleased to exhibit at the NACE International 2017 Conference and Exposition on Corrosion, based at the Ernest N. Morial Conference Center, New Orleans, USA, from March 26th through March 30th. Applied Graphene Materials were first time exhibitors and attracted interest from new and long-time attendees to NACE.
NACE has for many years been the North American forum for all matters relating to corrosion and how to combat it in design and service. Of late NACE has gone global and attracted interest from many countries around the world. It is particularly noted for its qualification for corrosion assessment and correction. Many of the attendees were qualified NACE inspectors. The role of Graphene and Applied Graphene Materials in preventing to onset of corrosion will need to be acknowledged by NACE and this was a useful first step.
Kevin Jackson commented ‘preventing corrosion is a multi-billion dollar market across the Globe and at NACE International 2017 nanotechnology and in particular Graphene is starting to gain traction with the corrosion engineering community. They want to know what it is, what it can do to prevent corrosion and where they can get it’.
